We are seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst with expertise in bank loan products and banking processes to join a dynamic team within a leading banking institution in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit-related concepts and banking processes, with a focus on supporting IT systems and loan origination processes (LOP).
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business requests, gather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure alignment with development teams.
- Prepare and maintain data dictionaries to ensure consistency and clarity in system data.
- Investigate system incidents to identify whether they are caused by business rules or technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Create and manage test cases/scenarios to ensure that system updates meet business requirements.
- Coordinate, support, or perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system changes and enhancements.
- Take the initiative to organize analysis sessions, ensuring all requirements are thoroughly reviewed and documented.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in the banking sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of credit-related concepts and the credit process within financial institutions.
- Experience with data analysis, incident investigation, and test case preparation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and business analysis frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek & English (written & verbal).
- Experience working in Agile methodologies will be considered a plus.
