Sales Explorers is a boutique international Business Development Agency with an extensive and successful track record in the events industry. We work with leading event organisations and industry associations in driving traffic to their physical and virtual events, running membership acquisition and/or sponsorship sales as well as supporting recruitment for webinars, roundtables and executive meetings.
The Role
As Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will play a key role in securing new commercial clients and sponsorship
revenue. You will be responsible for the entire process from acquiring new clients to managing and growing
relationships with existing ones across both new and established industry-leading international summits. You will sell across the portfolio, focusing on new business development and
upselling to existing clients. This role epitomises an end-to-end solution sale.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Develop a thorough understanding of the products, industry trends, and competitive
landscape.
· Conduct market research and identify prospect target companies.
· Cultivate enduring business relationships with clients, formulating creative, profitable, and innovative
solutions for their business needs.
· Prospect for new business and establish a robust sales pipeline, engaging prospects through written, verbal, and online communication.
· Manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring revenue delivery meets essential baseline metrics and growth targets.
· Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations to ensure the successful delivery of customer-focused proposals to match prospects' lead generation needs and objectives.
· Work closely with the Managing Director to produce monthly revenue forecasts, sales
reports, and manage your sales pipeline.
· Be responsible for meeting revenue targets across the events portfolio.
Ideal Background:
· A highly ambitious individual seeking a career move and growth opportunities.
· At least 3-5 years of sponsorship sales experience in a business-to-business environment.
· Ability to build and manage relationships with C-level and senior-level executives within medium and large organizations.
· Adept communicator and attentive listener.
· Solid business acumen with a high level of commercial awareness.
· A proven track record of b2b sales, preferably in Sponsorship or (Media/ Advertising / similar solution- based sales)
· A strong closer with a focus on high-ticket sales.
