Junior Finance Assistant’s Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Accounting / Finance / Economics or any other relevant field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a company operating online, will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
- Strong task prioritization skills, ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Proactive, well-organised and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems, and deliver results
- High level of communication skills
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the invoicing process of Nexxie Group, collections, and reporting
- In charge of outgoing and incoming payments for Nexxie Group, including execution, filing, and correspondence with related parties
- Execution of international payments to marketing affiliates and other associates
- Monitoring the liquidity, maintaining payment records, and preparing reconciliation analysis
- Update the monthly VAT/Tax reports
- Stay updated on VAT/Tax regulations in the EU, the US and other third countries
- Assist with the KYC updates requested by the Banks as well as with the requirements for the onboarding process for new bank accounts
- Contact Market Research for potential collaborations with new Banking and Electronic Money Institutions
- Assisting our Auditors and other External Advisors with their information requests
- Identify discrepancies and provide meaningful insights to the Management
- Assist in ad hoc requests in relation to the General Finance tasks of Nexxie Group
- Reporting directly to the Group’s Financial Controller
Our Standards
- Monthly fixed salary.
- Bonus mid and end of the year subject to performance.
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm (flexi hour) including a 30-minute break.
