We are seeking experienced and responsible team member for a Senior Compliance Officer role to support the team with completion of compliance projects and various regulatory matters. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is fond of collaboration and ensures set goals are achieved effectively and on time.
General Duties & Specific Duties
- Review, guidance and delegation to subordinates in relation to compliance projects and various regulatory matters
- Assisting and maintaining the Company’s Compliance as per the internal Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Monitoring and assisting in any usual and/or ad-hoc compliance reporting obligations
- Assisting in the preparation of Annual Compliance Reports and/or any other compliance related ad- hoc regulatory requirements
- Preparation of training materials and compliance circulars as these should be circulated among the
- Departments of the Company from time to time
- Maintenance and update the internal policies in line with regulatory requirements
- Monitoring and assessment of the correct and effective implementation of compliance policies and
- procedures
- Handling a diverse range of compliance relating tasks
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory requirements, evolving Compliance and regtech practices in the financial services sector
- Report and assist the Head of Compliance in any tasks and projects that the Department may be involved with.
Requirements
- Degree from a reputable university in in Law/Finance/Economics/ Business Management or related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a compliance role in the FX/FinTech Industry
- CySEC advanced certification and/or CySEC AML certification will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellence knowledge of AML legislation
- Fluency in both verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage.
- Work effectively and efficiently under pressure and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and excellent computer literacy;
- Strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
