Position: Head of Payments/Finance

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the CFO and departments to create and present the companys annual budget
You will lead a team of 10 People.
Monitor budget performance, recommending cost-saving measures and implementing improvements
Provide financial insights and alternatives to enhance performance
Manage capital requests, budgeting processes, and financial reporting
Prepare detailed reports on financial status, risks, and forecasts
Assist in developing financial and tax strategies with the CFO
Deliver key financial figures to executive management and CFO on a regular basis
Conduct business studies and develop forecast models based on past, present, and future performance
Oversee cash management and funding for operations and projects
Conduct financial assessments of counterparties and banks
Review incentive calculations and monitor KPIs for revenue-generating functions
Evaluate profitability of products and services, collaborating with departments to address gaps
Review statutory financial statements and maintain banking relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. CFA certification will be considered as an advantage
Fluent in English both verbal and written
Previous experience from FX / FinTech companies or Service providers (acccounting firms), in same or similar position is a must!
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel
Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent command of financial planning, reporting, and tax strategy development
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Leadership and team management experience
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High proficiency in financial data analysis and the ability to spot patterns
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to senior management
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level management.
