On behalf of a client, a well-established company specializing in the production of clinker and cement, we are currently seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement new equipment to the existing process
- Amend any logic needed in case of production requirements on the existing software
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise with the automations systems such as sensors, actuators, analysers or control software.
- Write, test and debug programs for controllers and interfaces with other subsystems.
- Writing and debugging PLC code and HMI using Siemens Simatic PCS7
- Writing and debugging PLC code and HMI systems using Siemens TIA Portal
- Prepare production and process reports the existing reporting system
- Knowledge of any other programming language will be an advantage
Position’s Requirements
- Bachelor / Master Degree of Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or relevant with specialization in Software Programming
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Control systems / Sensors knowledge
- Siemens PLC programming knowledge (will be considered as a strong competitive advantage)
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
Employer’s Details
Working hours: Monday-Friday 07:00 – 15:00
Salary range: €25,000- €32,000 gross
