The Purchasing Manager will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining our supply chain, ensuring that we provide the highest quality products and services while adhering to our standard of understated elegance. Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies in alignment with hotel objectives
Manage procurement processes for all hotel operations, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and favorable terms
Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing schedules to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding purchasing and supplier relationships
Evaluate supplier performance regularly, ensuring products meet required quality and delivery standards
Collaborate with various departments to ascertain their purchasing needs and preferences, offering guidance on product options

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the hospitality industry with luxury market experience
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems
Strong analytical skills with experience in budget management and cost control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Greek and English, and strong customer service orientation
