One of our clients, one of the leading land and property development company in Cyprus, is seeking to hire a Finance and Accounts Manager for their Limassol office.

Responsibilities

Oversee and ensure the efficient functioning of the company’s Finance and Accounting operations
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants to guarantee the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with local laws and standards
Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Track cash flow, monitor financial performance and profitability, and provide strategic financial advice to the management team
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders
Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT filings, and other mandatory statutory reports
Support external audits by ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing any arising issues
Foster relationships and coordinate with external partners, including auditors, financial institutions, and other associates
Report directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification will be considered as a plus
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing (prior experience in the Construction and Real Estate industry is strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of Cyprus Tax and VAT legislation
Exceptional organizational skills
Highly motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and accounting software
Excellent command of the English language
