Responsibilities

Responsible for the corporate governance and administration of ISX Financial Group of companies, including company secretary work, assisting in the preparation of Board/Committee meetings and meeting agendas, collation of Board materials, drafting of minutes/resolutions and ensuring relevant action points are followed up;
Monitoring the maintenance of the corporate documents for the ISX Financial Group’s entities and overseeing the filing of legal and regulatory documents;
Maintaining required company statutory registers and records;
Involved with the legal matters relating to the incorporation and upkeeping of the companies across the various jurisdictions of the ISX Financial Group’s operation.
Reviewing relevant regulatory and statutory changes across the EU, and if relevant, advise impact to business;
Carrying out any other legal work and tasks as required by the Head of Legal Department;
Supporting with general queries;

Requirements

•Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law.

•Professional Membership: Active membership with the Cyprus Bar Association.

• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record as a Company Secretary or Assistant Company Secretary for a publicly listed company or a large multinational private group.

• Legal Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of corporate law, governance frameworks, and relevant legislative requirements.

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional EU languages is highly desirable.

• Legal Competency: Demonstrated ability to independently handle complex legal tasks with a hands-on approach.

• Project Management: Advanced project management skills with the capacity to efficiently handle a substantial workload, navigate conflicting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

• Organisational Skills: A methodical and structured approach to work, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.

• Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on thoroughness and precision.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
