Thanos Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking to recruit a Waiter/Waitress for the Amyth of Nicosia.
About Amyth of Nicosia:
Amyth of Nicosia, part of the expansion strategy of Thanos Hotels, is a beautifully restored villa with ten bedrooms and suites, located in the historic Old City of Nicosia. Just meters away from the Archbishopric of Cyprus and its Museum of Byzantine Art, and opposite the Mansion of Kornesios Hadjigeorgakis
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that standards of service are met at all times as determined by the Food and Beverage Standards and the Policies and Regulations of Thanos Hotels
- Assist in the day-to-day operation in order to exceed guest satisfaction and expectations
- Follow the correct and consistent service techniques according to the F&B standards
- Handle guest complaints or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
- Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
- To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
