The Technology & Digital is actively looking to recruit a Software Engineer to join our Card Systems of the Technology & Digital Division to join the team in Nicosia offices.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop, modify and maintain assigned software and web services. Monitor the operation of assigned software and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding
- Review user requirements and needs for new software and perform analysis, design, implementation, installation and training related to new software developed
- - Analyse and design systems based on business specification
- - Document system plan and establish an implementation schedule
- - Develop programs and procedures necessary to integrate and/or implement the system
- - Optimise the application for maximum speed and scalability
- - Test system fully to determine its operational reliability
- - Provide technical documentation of the software developed conforming to the Bank’s policies
- Provide technical advice and support to users. This includes creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis, training and problem solving
- Takes proactive actions to avoid issues and ensure the good health of systems by performing daily checks, logs review, data archiving and other related tasks
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science or another related field will be considered an advantage
- At least two years of work experience in a related position
- Knowledge and experience on the below programming languages and Tools:
- - Oracle Programming
- - Web/RESTful Services Development
- - ASP.NET using C#
- - Visual Studio
- Understanding / knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:
- - Experience with Card Payment Systems
- - Working on an Agile Development Team
- - Experience with XML and JSON.
- Highly-motivated and ambitious with ability to deliver within tight deadlines
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact on a technical and non-technical level
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
