As an
HR Generalist at
NOŪS Santorini, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring a positive work environment for all team members. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, and maintaining compliance with labour law.
The position is permanent, based 5 months in Athens and 7 months in Santorini.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Ensure compliance with labour law and company policies
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, leaves, sickness
- Oversees weekly employee schedules and approves or provides adjustments ensuring alignment with Budget.
- Monitors time & attendance /payroll procedures and prepares relevant reports
- Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues
- Support performance management processes and assist in resolving employee relations issues
- Manage staff housing & transportation in cooperation with FOM.
- Be the point of reference between the Hotel Management and the employees always maintaining confidentiality of all information
- Maintains the personnel-related records (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and virtual databases according to the corporate policies, GDPR and labour law.
- Supports engagement with the vision, mission and values of the Group and maintain positive employee climate
- Assists with planning, coordinating, and executing employee activities and Human Resource's programs / events
- Organizing and coordinate training and development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant Master will be considered as an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of HR procedures and employment law
- Excellent knowledge of ERGANI platform (digital attendance card etc.)
- HRM systems experience such as SCAN is required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Hands on mentality.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems
- Fluency in English and Greek; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
