As a Baker at Canaves Collection, you will have the opportunity to work in our luxury properties, including the contemporary Canaves Ena, the elegant Canaves Oia Suites & Spa, the exclusive Sunday Suites, and our brand-new resort, Canaves Epitome. Located in the cosmopolitan village of Oia, in the northern part of Santorini Island, our properties are renowned for their exquisite service and breathtaking views.

As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, responsible for creating delicious, high-quality baked goods that will delight our guests. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, learn from experienced chefs, and contribute to the success of our renowned establishments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and consistency of baked goods by following precise measurements and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized baking station, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Monitor the inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior members of the culinary team
- Adhere to strict timelines to ensure the timely delivery of baked goods for various outlets
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and recipes for bread, pastries, and desserts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements and instructions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple demands
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
