Job Overview:
As a Business Intelligence & SEO Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by delivering insightful analytics and data-driven recommendations across our marketing, product, and affiliate teams. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive reports, tracking performance, and answering day-to-day data inquiries. Your expertise will directly influence strategic decisions and enhance our understanding of key metrics, especially regarding affiliate traffic and SEO performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop, maintain, and automate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights across the marketing, product, and affiliate teams.
- Track, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including affiliate traffic, SEO performance, and customer behavior metrics.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO and affiliate channels, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support day-to-day inquiries from different departments.
SEO & Affiliate Performance:
- Analyze affiliate traffic and performance data to identify areas of improvement, optimization opportunities, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with the marketing and affiliate teams to refine SEO strategies, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry trends.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of SEO initiatives, using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other relevant platforms.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of tracking systems to accurately monitor affiliate contributions and ROI.
Strategic Insight & Opportunities:
- Identify and communicate key analytical opportunities that can drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Proactively recommend new metrics, reports, and tools that will enhance data-driven decision-making within the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in the online casino sector, and apply this knowledge to improve business strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and affiliate teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on how to interpret data and use analytical tools effectively.
- Act as the go-to person for all data-related queries, ensuring clear communication and understanding across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role within relevant industries.
- Strong understanding of SEO, affiliate marketing, and traffic analysis.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Excel, and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and concise manner.
