The NPLs Management and Transactions Advisory Unit is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the existing team which is responsible for NPLs Management, the M&A transactions of the Bank (including portfolio acquisitions and sales), and the monitoring of the Servicer that manages the Bank’s NPLs.

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for data extraction from different sources, data reconciliation with the core banking system, as well as data filtering and analysis (including ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear manner)
- Maintain, develop, and enhance department’s databases and tools; update, improve and maintain the calculation and reporting tools and procedures of the department
- Support the NPLs management activities and obligations of the Bank - monitor Servicer activities and ensure compliance with the Servicing Agreement, support the calculation and monitoring of the Servicer KPIs, fees calculation, discretions, oversee the transfers to/from the servicer in line with the Servicing Agreement, oversee and monitor the performance of campaigns/standardized forbearance solutions, etc.
- Analyse results and prepare meaningful dashboards and power point presentations
- Support and/or be in charge for the timely preparation and submission of reports to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. NPA Plan, NPLs monitoring reports, disclosures,
- Servicer targets, Servicer monitoring reports, etc
- Participate in the development of frameworks, policies and processes related to Non-Performing Assets in compliance with the regulatory requirements and in line with best practices
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure prompt fulfilment of the Department’s obligations
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional Qualification such as ACA, ACCA or any other similar Professional Qualification will be considered an advantage
- Proven relevant work experience in model development and data mining, in Banking or a Servicer or a Consulting Company or similar. Advanced knowledge and proven experience in widely used programming languages e.g. SAS and/or R and or Python
- Practical experience in working with large volume of data, understanding data architecture and complexity of data flow
- Strong analytical skills; able to analyse and interpret data to support decision-making
- Working experience in NPL management or dealing with the NPLs regulatory reporting requirements and framework or knowledge of the relevant recovery framework (i.e. foreclosure, debt-to-asset) will be considered an advantage
- Highly self-motivated and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact on a technical and non-technical level, as well as build solid working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
