About the Position
Join our family at Amanzoe as a Fitness Manager.
Under the supervision of the Wellness Manager, the Fitness Manager is responsible for overseeing the fitness and wellness operations of the resort’s spa and fitness facilities. This role involves managing fitness programs, personal training services, outdoor activities, and coordinating with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience. The Fitness Manager ensures that the fitness center, yoga pavilion and tennis area meets high standards of luxury, providing a world-class experience for guests. They also lead a team of fitness instructors and trainers, ensuring quality service, maintaining state-of-the-art equipment, and promoting wellness throughout the resort.
About the Successful Candidate
- Current certification from an accredited fitness program - Yoga, Pilates, Wellness Coaching, Personal Training.
- Proven experience in fitness management or leadership in a luxury hospitality or wellness setting.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management or senior fitness role, preferably in a high-end resort or wellness environment
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading a diverse team of fitness professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of fitness trends, health and wellness programming, and luxury guest services.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests and staff alike.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Sales and marketing experience, with a strong focus on driving revenue through fitness and wellness programs.
- Strong interest for holistic health, wellness, and nutrition.
- Medical knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
