About the Property

About the Position
Join our family at Amanzoe as a Director of Finance
The Director of Finance is in charge to plan, direct, and manage the provision of accurate, timely, and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made. Recommend remedial action when and where necessary. Safeguard owner assets by creating and maintaining sound internal control systems. Hire the most professional, service-oriented, dedicated highly skilled, trained staff available. Participate in total hotel management as a member of the hotel Executive Committee.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
- Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
- Prepare timely and detailed yearly Budget
- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations
- Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
About the Successful Candidate
- Bachelor degree required. At least 15 years of experience within finance & accounting required. Associates with supervisory experience preferred. Positive, engaging and energetic personality
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other applicable computer systems. Budgetary analysis capabilities required
- Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision
- Very high attention to detail
- Sensitive to cultural nuances
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment
- Good people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders
- Professional appearance
This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
