Job Description:
Iberbanco is looking for a talented PHP Backend Developer to join our team. As a PHP Backend Developer, you will work on developing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers and other teams to create seamless and user-friendly banking experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain back-end components using PHP and relevant frameworks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure performance and security.
- Design and implement robust APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
- Manage and optimize databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for performance and reliability.
- Continuously stay updated with new technology trends and improve your skill set.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in PHP and one or more frameworks like Symfony, or Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of web server technologies (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database management systems, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration purposes.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
