Our client is a licensed CFD Broker with a passion for innovation, with cutting-edge trading technologies and forward-thinking strategies offer to their clients a seamless trading experience, empowering them to navigate the financial markets. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal and Compliance Officer to join their team. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong legal background to support expanding operations across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the CFD Broker industry and the ability to manage a diverse range of legal and compliance responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Legal Support:
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, including internal documents, policies, and procedures.
- Provide legal advice on company operations and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
Compliance Management:
- Oversee corporate KYC processes and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct client KYC reviews using screening tools.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements, particularly in jurisdictions governed by FSCA (South Africa) and FSC (Mauritius).
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining regulatory licenses.
Corporate Governance:
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance practices across the parent company and subsidiaries.
- Manage compliance documentation and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Law or a related field is essential.
- CySec Advanced certification.
- 2-3 years of experience in the CFD Broker industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments under FSCA and FSC is an advantage.
- Proficiency with compliance screening tools (e.g., Sumsub, Shufti Pro) is an advantage.
