We are partnering with a leading entertainment organization to hire a skilled Information Security Specialist. This role focuses on implementing, managing, and enhancing cybersecurity initiatives to align with industry best practices and regulatory standards like SOX, ISO27001, and GDPR.
About the Role
As a key member of the security team, you will work with advanced cybersecurity tools and frameworks to strengthen organizational defenses. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic security planning, hands-on technical work, and process optimization to mitigate risks effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support strategic planning for information security, leveraging industry best practices to align defense initiatives with business goals. Coordinate the evaluation, implementation, and management of current and future security technologies.
Manage and administer cybersecurity tools across on-premise and cloud environments, including but not limited to DLP, Web Security Gateway, Vulnerability Management, Server Policy Compliance, PIM/PAM, IAM, Endpoint Management, AV, EDR, APT, CASB, and Email Security solutions.
Contribute to the assessment, planning, and deployment of new cybersecurity technologies and systems.
Develop, enhance, and streamline processes that utilize new or existing technologies to bolster protection or minimize risk.
Conduct periodic and ad hoc system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure security compliance.
Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating data security procedures and controls to comply with regulatory and legal requirements, including SOX, ISO27001, and GDPR.
Help maintain information security and risk management policies, procedures, and technical standards to align with corporate objectives.
Stay updated on emerging trends, standards, and issues within the information security sector.
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Information Security and Cybersecurity.
Proficient with security tools such as DLP, Web Security Gateway, Vulnerability Management, Server Policy Compliance, PIM/PAM, IAM, Endpoint Management, AV, EDR, APT, CASB, and Email Security platforms.
Experience with securing multiple operating systems, including Windows Servers and Clients, Linux, and Unix.
Strong understanding of network design, architecture, the OSI model, and TCP/IP.
Exposure to cloud computing environments and their security challenges.
Familiarity with web and application security practices.
Knowledge of encryption technologies such as PKI, SSL/TLS, and data-at-rest encryption methods.
