Job Title: Head of Risk
Location: Larnaca/Cyprus, hybrid type of work
The main tasks of this role:
Head of Risk Department will be responsible for overall management of the department and the successful execution of the following processes:
- identifying, assessing and continuously monitoring of Company’s risks ensuring the risks management activities are effective
- the process of the Company’s Risk Register maintenance
- reviewing the arrangements, processes and mechanisms to manage the risks relating to the Company’s activities, processes and systems
- the process of documents and policies development based on the international best practices to regulate the guidelines and procedures
- reporting on risk management and submitting reports for management review
- calculating risk metrics and risk limits using external and internal resources and monitoring and controlling risks of accounts
- implementing risk controls in IT systems of the company
- management the process of quarterly Capital Adequacy reports preparation
- management of Resolution & Recovery plan preparation
- assisting in preparation Business Continuity Plan
- submitting the annual report to Board of Directors
- management the process of annual Pillar III disclosures preparation and assisting with the external audit of these disclosures
- management the process of ICARA and ILAAP plans preparation
- management the company's risks associated with products, clients trading, and similar matters
- management the employees of the department, their development
What experience we are looking for:
● 5 years of working experience on the same field
● analytical thinking, comprehension clarity, clear communication, team work, flexibility
● great understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
