Join our Hardware Team as an Embedded Engineer, where you’ll contribute to the development of electronics for complex embedded systems and be involved throughout the entire product life cycle. In this role, you’ll engage in embedded firmware development, integration, testing, and debugging, as well as support the design and review of embedded hardware.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Be part of the R&D Hardware Team developing electronics for complex embedded systems
- Involvement in the full product life cycle
- Embedded firmware development, integration, test and debug
- Contribute to development and review of embedded hardware
- Assist with prototype PCB validation and test methodology
- Assist Field Support Engineers with remote diagnosis of technical issues
For that mission you’ll need:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related field
- 2 years experience in embedded firmware programming using C on microcontrollers
- 2 years experience in developing drivers for LAN, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART or USB devices
- Understanding of electronics hardware and schematic diagrams
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Electronics hardware design
- Programming PIC 32-bit microcontrollers
- Using standard lab and RF test equipment
- Python programming
