Aeteq is a well-funded Cypriot company created by bookmakers and platform providers together, to create the best-in-class retail and digital B2B sportsbook platform. We provide sports betting, Horse Racing and Numbers betting solutions for mobile, online & retail.
Aeteq has teams in Germany, UK, Portugal, and South Africa and is now opening its new Global Headquarters in Nicosia, where we aim to expand all future hiring from our new Nicosia office. What we look for:
We are looking for Technical Support Engineers who understand support processes and can work independently. The engineers will be the first point of contact from the bookmakers to Aeteq and manage the communication and troubleshooting of any issue.
What you will be doing:
· Maintain the first level communication between the business clients and Aeteq.
· Create processes to run the communication efficiently and be up-to-date with any updates.
· Collaborate with internal Development and Testing Teams on issues solving.
· Document any issues and bugs and liaise with the project management team.
· The role might include some travel.
Who you are:
· Ideally, you hold a university degree.
· You can read and write fluent in Business English.
· Some experience in Jira ticketing systems and processes.
· Ability to translate business requirements and jargon into meaningful development tickets.
· Well organized.
· Experience in Sports Betting, Casino, Forex software and/or industries is a strong plus.
· ITIL certification or strong understanding of ITIL processes is beneficial.
