Compliance Director
The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to investment firms on regulatory compliance issues and facilitate communication between the firms and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the compliance department, overseeing both senior and junior compliance officers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
· Serve as the primary compliance advisor to key clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored regulatory solutions.
· Develop and implement high-level compliance strategies, ensuring clients remain fully compliant with all relevant laws and regulations while mitigating risk.
· Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, managing complex audits, regulatory submissions, and maintaining open communication channels on behalf of clients.
· Direct the management of client complaints, ensuring prompt resolution in line with regulatory guidelines and maintaining the firm’s reputation.
· Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising clients on necessary adjustments and ensuring they stay ahead of compliance developments.
· Lead the creation and delivery of compliance and AML training programs for both clients and internal teams, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, from a reputable university, in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or any other related discipline
· At least 3 years of professional experience within the Financial Services Industry
· Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to take ownership and provide solutions to challenges.
· Team spirit and willingness to study and develop.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communications skills both in writing and verbally in Greek and in English
· Computer literate, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
· Advanced CySEC certificate for the performance of various investment services will be considered an advantage.
· Availability to travel on a regular basis.
