About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting career with a leading Asset management company. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Enter and manage transactions, including invoices and bank statements, using accounting software.
· Prepare necessary documentation for audits and assist in responding to auditor inquiries.
· Analyze and correct audited financial statements during the audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
· Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements and implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with IFRS and company standards.
· Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management and conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
· Assist the monthly and annual closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
· Fluency in Russian and English.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) are preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the asset management or financial services industry.
· Proficient in the 1C accounting software.
· Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
