Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our dynamic team at HFM.
This role requires key support in the financial planning and analysis functions, providing valuable insights to help drive business decisions and enhance financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Your role at HFM:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to monitor company performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Analyse variances in key financial metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs for budgets and forecasts and ensure alignment with business strategies.
Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis:
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, including profitability analysis, scenario planning, and capital investment evaluations.
Data Management & Reporting Tools:
- Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
Business Partnering:
- Work closely with various business units to understand financial performance and support decision-making processes.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to operational teams to help optimize costs and drive profitability.
Ad-Hoc Analysis & Projects:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and identifying potential financial risks and opportunities.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- BA/BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or MBA) would be considered as an advantage.
- 2+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or related finance roles.
- Strong experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience working with data analysis and visualisation tools, especially Power BI, would be considered as an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools would be considered as advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to distil complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
EU/EFTA citizens OR holders of a Cyprus work permit OR foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
