The House of Mercier is excited to offer the opportunity for Italian Speaking Social Media Content Moderators to work remotely from Greece. As a Content Moderator, you will oversee and manage user-generated content primarily in Italian, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our established community standards. Responsibilities
- Monitor and review user-generated content on social media platforms to ensure alignment with community guidelines
- Evaluate posts, comments, and messages in Italian, making informed decisions to approve, flag, or remove any inappropriate content
- Document and report instances of policy violations, including hate speech, spam, and other harmful behaviors
- Engage with users, addressing their inquiries and providing clarity on community standards
- Collaborate with the social media team to provide insights based on user interactions and community feedback
- Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and aid in generating performance reports
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media moderation
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian with excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Prior experience in content moderation or similar social media roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to evaluate content accurately
- Excellent critical thinking skills and sound judgment in moderation decisions
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content policies
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced environment
