Duties & Responsibilities:
· Actively seek out and identify new customers, expanding the customer base.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular interactions and exceptional customer service.
· Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and negotiate favourable terms.
· Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services.
· Utilize sales techniques and strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets.
· Collaborate with other team members to share market insights, sales strategies, and best practices.
· Prepare regular sales reports and updates, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
· Report directly to the Sales Manager.
Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience as a Sales Representative, Account Manager, or in a similar role in the shipping industry.
· Bachelor’s degree/College diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
· Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
· Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
· Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
· Willingness to travel as required.
