About the position:
The Central Junior Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods from central distribution centers to local subsidiaries and customers across the European Union, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Middle East (ME), and African regions. The range of responsibilities includes processing orders, supporting customs clearance procedures, providing VAT guidance, maintaining corporate policies, tracking deliveries, issuing invoices, and advising on cost-effective delivery solutions.
Key functions:
- Order Processing and Management: Process sales orders (SOs) accurately, generate warehouse orders (WOs) with clear instructions.
- Customs Clearance and Compliance: Work with customs brokers for clearance, provide necessary documentation and resolve issues.
- VAT Expertise: Offer VAT guidance and ensure EU compliance, follow corporate VAT policies.
- Policy Compliance and Auditing: Audit logistics operations for policy adherence, address discrepancies and maintain compliance.
- Shipment Tracking and Documentation: Monitor shipments and obtain proof of delivery, issue invoices and send shipping documents promptly.
- Cost-Effective Delivery: Analyze and recommend cost-saving delivery options, optimize logistics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- New Business Projects: Provide logistics insights for new projects, evaluate solutions and collaborate with teams for integration.
Qualification and skills:
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics field will be a plus
- Fluent in English language
- Russian language is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- ERP experience (Exact, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
