As the Business Development Manager, you will directly impact the growth of our retail brokerage by identifying new revenue channels, establishing strategic partnerships, and developing affiliate relationships. You will independently drive initiatives that broaden our market presence and optimize revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
Monitor sales metrics, adjusting tactics to meet or exceed sales targets.
Lead initiatives to increase revenue through independent partnerships, affiliate relationships, and direct collaborations.
Work closely with Client and Marketing teams to create and roll out campaigns that amplify the impact of partnerships and affiliates.
2. Partner Sourcing and Development:
Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential partners and affiliates to expand our sales network and reach new customer bases.
Independently draft and implement partnership agreements, securing beneficial terms for sustainable growth.
Actively manage and nurture relationships with partners and affiliates, ensuring strong alignment and mutual benefit.
3. Affiliate Program Development and Management:
Design and enhance an affiliate program tailored to our revenue and growth goals.
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and support for affiliates, ensuring optimal program performance.
Regularly track and report affiliate performance metrics, providing insights to refine and maximize program efficacy.
4. Market Research and Expansion:
Conduct ongoing market analysis to uncover new business opportunities within the retail trading and fintech sectors.
Develop strategies for entering new market segments, with an emphasis on assessing risk and revenue potential.
Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure offerings align with market needs and partner requirements.
5. Business Development Strategy Execution:
Develop and execute a business development plan that supports both immediate and long-term growth.
Set and track business development KPIs, aligning efforts with revenue and market share targets.
Contribute to a proactive, entrepreneurial culture, setting an example of high performance and growth-driven focus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; experience in finance or trading is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within fintech, brokerage, or retail trading environments.
- Solid understanding of partnership formation and management, with experience in affiliate programs.
- Familiarity with trading markets and products such as FX, CFD, and equities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, results-oriented approach to growth.
