Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audits from start to finish, including risk assessments, materiality determinations, and audit testing
- Review audit work papers and provide coaching and guidance to junior staff members to ensure quality and compliance
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports that communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing concerns
- Stay updated on changes in audit regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices
- Assist in the development of audits, specific methodologies, and procedures, enhancing the firm's audit approach and efficiency
- Conduct training and workshops for junior auditors, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or ACA qualified prefered
- 5+ years of experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with auditing software and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
