OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Health & Wellbeing Services Coordinator, reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Services Manager, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a range of health and wellness services. This includes ensuring effective service delivery across multiple programs, such as the Medical Advisory, Mental Health Support, Nutrition Consultancy, Public Health Initiatives, Supply and Testing Solutions, Training etc. The role involves coordinating these services to meet client needs, facilitating seamless communication between teams and clients, and maintaining high-quality standards across all health and wellbeing initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the enrollment process for new vessels, ensuring seamless setup and timely service initiation.
- Work to guarantee flawless delivery of health and wellbeing services, addressing the specific needs of each client.
- Act as a liaison between clients and service providers to coordinate the successful implementation of assigned programs.
- Ensure service standards are met across all programs, including Medical Advisory, Mental Health Support, Nutrition Consultancy, Public Health Support, Supply and Testing Programs.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, quickly addressing any inquiries or issues.
- Monitor service quality and identify opportunities for improvements to meet client expectations.
- Work closely with the Health & Wellbeing Services Manager to review and enhance service delivery standards.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions, service enrollments, and program delivery statuses.
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates for internal and client review.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Degree in Maritime studies or similar.
- Adequate experience in shipping with an understanding of maritime health and wellbeing services.
- Strong computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Prompt communicator, with very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Highest personal integrity standards, a positive outlook and be self-motivated to develop & succeed.
- A good command of the English language, both written and oral.
Desirable:
- Proven working experience in management of maritime crew welfare and medical supply and testing solutions services (Medical advisory (tele-medicine), mental health crisis lines, medical supplies and medical operations etc).
