Front Office Agent to join our city hotel in Athens
Life Gallery.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome the Hotel guests, provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guest, so as to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival till departure.
- Conduct in room & hotel familiarization and assist guest in hotel enquiries/ requests/ activity.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, attractions and any allied information to respond to guest queries.
- Process accounts from check in to check out, ensuring accurate postings of all incidental charged using Front Office system.
- Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed.
- Sell guests rooms to walk in guests. Oversee the achievement of team up selling targets.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel's policies, operating procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and events.
- Prepare customer's account and guest's history.
- Assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective manner providing solutions as quickly as possible.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Bookkeeping and Finance duties (balancing cash accounts, end of shift reports etc.)
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and colleagues.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should have:
- Degree in Hospitality.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front Office Agent in a 5-star/Boutique hotel.
- Knowledge of Protel PMS.
- Excellent knowledge and use of the English Language.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for Excellence.
- Prioritize, organize, perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy and follow up.
