On behalf of a client, a well-established Group operating in the retail industry, we are looking for an IT Support professional to help maintain, and troubleshoot the rapidly expanding infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be part of a talented team of IT professionals that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Maintain the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Provide 1st level technical support.
- Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Work on a shift basis
Position’s Requirements
- BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting windows based environments.
- Experience with PC and Point of Sale hardware, Printers and Computer peripherals;
- Experience with MS Dynamics Nav and LS Retail will be considered a significant advantage
- Experience with MS Active Directory and knowledge of MS Exchange will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Networking Technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language;
