We are currently recruiting a Chief Technology Officer for one of our client in Limassol Cyprus.
Our client is a newly established American Fintech digital bank. As part of a rapid development and growth phase, the top management & investors are looking for a Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will be the key driving force in ensuring a secure and effective platform for the Bank customers. The ideal candidate should have a solid technology expertise in application and website development, cybersecurity, GDPR and other privacy laws in Europe, and strong leadership capability.
Duties will include :
- Oversee all matters relating to technology in the organization, including IT architecture, strategies and develop the solution roadmap to meet business goals
- Oversee the construction and development of a cloud-based financial services mobile application and secure website
- Lead and manage the different teams in the technology department, including Application Development, IT Security, Client Technology and Technology Operations, and Cloud Administration to achieve business goals
- Create and manage timelines for the development and deployment of technology services
- Manage the budgets and time frames of technology projects
- Identify risks and opportunities for existing and future projects
- Stay updated of emerging technological trends and developments
- Ensure that all technology practices align with compliance regulations
Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Computer Science or equivalent, Master’s Degree M.A.) or higher preferred.
- Relevant Technology Certifications
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in a technology role, with hands-on experience in programming
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Able to speak fluently in English
- Flexible to travel all around the world
