MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Assist with invoice preparation, receipt handling, and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Support the preparation of management reports, financial summaries, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial data.
- Communicate with external auditors and third-party service providers when necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the Financial Controller.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Educated to Bachelor degree level or the equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior accounting experience is an advantage but not required.
- Strong attention to detail in financial record-keeping and calculations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort using modern technologies.
- Experience with SAGE accounting software is a plus.
- A proactive, innovative approach to improving processes.
