Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Stay updated with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure full compliance.
Maintenance of the accounting books and records for clients.
Running of monthly payroll and handling the contributions.
Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES and other tax returns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Other Requirement: Candidate should have the right to work in Cyprus.
