We are looking for a Senior 3D Motion Designer (Unreal Engine) to join our marketing team working on Taonga: the Island Farm!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-quality CG-animations and sound design for our creatives
- Giving feedback and suggestions to other team mates on their work
- Act as the key driver and agent of change to improve processes, prototype new tools and workflows for the animation department
- Create and supervise internal libraries and animation assets
- Setting lighting, camera, and composition for video marketing materials
- Prepare final render and visualisation of video marketing materials
- Create and manage digital 3D assets
- Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints
- Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members
- Optimize, refine and correct model geometry
- Rig models and characters for animation
- Work with artists and animators to execute projects on time
- Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture, modelling tools and technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional knowledge level of Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints, Niagara, PCG and etc.)
- Professional knowledge level of DaVinci Resolve (preferred) or Final Cut Pro X or similar software from Adobe
- Professional knowledge level of Directing, Cinematography, Editing
- Extensive knowledge of Character animation, Environment creation, Cutscene preparing, Rigging and Skinning, Sound Design
- Experience of working with motion capture technologies (LiveLink, Mo-cap suits, Xsens)
- Diploma in 3D modeling or a degree in fine arts or relevant experience of minimum 4 years in 3D design, modeling, 3D and 2D animation, game marketing
- Good communication skills
- Experience of working with Nuke, Houdini will be an added bonus
- Some scripting and storyboarding experience will be an added bonus.
