What You’ll Do
- Maintain all instrument static data and build automated processes for ingestion of market updates to ensure the proper function of the trading platform.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of transactions per MIFIR, EMIR, and SFTR requirements. Monitor updates in regulations, assess the company's reporting obligations, assess the impact and update processes accordingly.
- Perform daily broker trade/position/cash reconciliations with timely resolution.
- Ensure accurate processing of corporate actions for clients and provide internal notification/escalation.
- Identify areas of weakness for control and automation of manual processes in line with internal and external requirements.
- Execute and monitor performance of tasks and deliver management information to committees in support of timely and accurate completion.
- Collaborate with IT teams to drive the enhancement of the Companies platform and services, and with vendors to address system issues, implement enhancements, and optimize reporting processes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all policies and procedures, including reporting processes and controls.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in transaction reporting, with clear prior experience in the full front-to-back process of transaction reporting.
- Experience with transaction reporting systems and platforms (e.g., UnaVista, Bloomberg, TRAX, REGIS-TR).
- Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify anomalies.
- Proven track record of managing regulatory reporting projects, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or equivalent).
- CySEC Basic or Advanced Examination.
- Experience with SQL or Python.
