The AML Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the organization’s compliance with all applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and internal policies. This role involves monitoring financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting KYC onboarding, and assisting in risk assessments, internal audits, and staff training.

Responsabilities
- Monitor transactions to identify and investigate any suspicious or unusual activity.
- Ensure full compliance with AML regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain and regularly update AML records, documentation, and case files to support compliance efforts and regulatory reviews.
- Assist in conducting AML risk assessments and internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed on regulatory updates, emerging AML risks, and industry trends to proactively address compliance challenges.
- Provide AML-related training or guidance to internal staff when required, fostering a strong compliance culture across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field.
- CySEC AML Certificate.
- Proven experience in AML compliance or a similar role within financial services.
- Strong understanding of AML laws, regulatory requirements, and KYC principles.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and regulatory bodies.
