By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing and managing electrical high-voltage aspects of the project, ensuring the successful execution of electrical systems. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems while adhering to safety regulations and project timelines.
Your Role Will Encompass
- Ensure the health and safety of all employees working on company projects, as well as the safety of third parties
- Oversee the work of company staff and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices
- Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures. Take proactive measures to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained
- Coordinate and supervise personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and smooth operation of machinery and equipment
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, produce detailed reports, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Lead investigations, analyze incidents, and produce comprehensive reports to prevent future occurrences
- Develop and maintain accurate records of all HSE documentation as required by legislation and company policies
- Implement safety procedures for the operation, maintenance, and insurance of facilities, ensuring maintenance interventions are conducted safely
- Ensure compliance with all legal provisions related to operations, maintenance, operating permits, environmental approvals, and safety regulations
- Provide timely and effective reports on all HSE activities and incidents
- Effectively communicate, implement, and monitor all company HSE rules and procedures
What You Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Safety Engineer in construction or industry, with a focus on HSE
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, codes, and standards
- Experience with international clients and solar projects is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English; ability to prepare HSE documentation in English and/or Greek
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Electrical Work Certification and HSE Certification required
- Familiarity with QHSE Management Systems (180001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure
