Are you looking to get started with a TAX profession? On behalf of our client, an established Audit and Tax Firm, we are currently looking to hire a Junior Tax Advisor/Consultant to join a dynamic team at their offices in Limassol. This is a great opportunity for a junior professional to apply their skills and learn from he best in the industry. The same company has an opening for a Senior position (up to 4 years of experience)
Responsibilities:
- Assumed direct taxation (TAX) assignments under close supervision from senior staff.
- Prepare TAX computations.
- Work with other staff on specific assignments and projects.
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
- Other TAX compliance and advisory-related assignments.
- Undertake some administration duties required as part of the job.
- Direct communication with clients and the Cyprus Tax Department.
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc Degree in any related field.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- IT literacy.
- Should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting established goals & and objectives.
- Team player.
- Perform research, read, and understand the Cyprus VAT-related Legislation and the EU VAT Legislation.
- 1-2 years of prior experience in accounting or TAX-related duties will be considered an advantage.
Remuneration:
- An attractive package of remuneration package depending on experience and qualifications.
- 21 days annual leave
- Free Parking
- Flexible working hours with a 40-hour work week.
- Monday-Thursday: 08:00-13:00, 14:00-17:30 | Friday: 08:00-14:00.
