Bookkeeper

GAP Vassilopoulos Group is currently seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper to be based in our Head Offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Track and record all incoming and outgoing financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

• Keep the general ledger up-to-date by recording transactions in various accounts (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and expenses)

• Monitor and process payments to vendors and suppliers

• Ensure invoices are sent out on time and payments are received

• Reconcile bank statements with the company's records to ensure accuracy

• Maintain a record of petty cash used for small expenses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or LCCI Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Fluent in Greek and English

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Cycom) will be considered an advantage

• Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
