Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (upper second-class or higher) in a relevant field.
- ACA qualification with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar commercial role within a group of companies, preferably.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the Navision accounting package is an advantage.
- Additional qualifications such as an MBA or programming/mathematical skills will be considered beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Experience with accounting software and databases.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management, finance executives, and other key stakeholders to achieve corporate accounting, fund accounting, financial reporting, tax, and regulatory/compliance objectives.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts as well as annual financial statements.
- Oversee financial planning and control, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow preparation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal audit/risk management functions to conduct reviews and prepare reports.
- Manage cost control measures and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, advisors, and counterparties.
- Conduct due diligence and actively participate in ad-hoc projects.
- Lead team coordination efforts to ensure timely delivery of tasks and project milestones.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, simplification, or elimination to improve operational effectiveness.
