What the job looks like?
The Accountant will have the opportunity to:
- Execution of corporate payments from banks and other institutions
- Daily posting of suppliers’ invoices and bank payment transactions to the accounting software
- Preparation and reconciliation of Banks, Payment Providers, Suppliers, and Intercompany balances
- Assist in month-end/year-end entries and management accounts
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor and/or Head of department
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and/or LCCI Higher Diploma
- Previous experience in a similar position for at least 3 years
- Previous experience in Financial/FX Industry will be considered as advantage
- IT literate (very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools)
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite accounting software will be considered as advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English language, both oral and written
- High attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
- Team player and reticence is a requirement
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work on multiple assignments, in a dynamic working environment
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
