SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Ensures that food and beverages are served correctly and promptly, that Guests are well served and that his subordinates carry out their duties through continuous training.
1. Ensures that the actions taken and duties carried out by his team-members are in accordance with the pre-set procedures and contributes towards their execution.
2. Greets Guests in the correct manner.
3. Ensures that Restaurants, conference halls and events halls are opened according to the procedure.
4. Knows all the different types of dishes on the Restaurant menus, as well as their ingredients, and explains them to Guests if requested.
5. Knows all the wines on the Restaurant wine lists, their origin, description and combination.
6. Knows all the drinks on the Restaurant and Bar menus, their ingredients, their origin, and combination.
7. Knows all the different types of cigars on the Restaurant and Bar menus and the correct way to present and serve them.
8. Knows and can explain to Guests the various buffet dishes.
9. Takes orders according to the correct Hotel’s procedures.
Required Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience
· Very good knowledge of Greek and English language
· Communication skills
· Pleasant personality
· Team Spirit
