About The Role
The ideal candidate will have great verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving attitude, be proactive and have quick reactive skills, social media platforms savvy, with attention to detail. They will coordinate social media & digital content and act as a "brand guardian" ensuring content consistency across media to serve brand image and positioning. They will be responsible for social media content strategy in order to increase positive publicity and people's engagement with the brand. Success in this role will depend on increase clients' engagement through valuable content in social media and community management.
What You 'll Be Doing
- Plan and develop the Social Media strategy and content (posts, blog content and Video)
- Supervise the implementation of Social Media strategy
- Creation and Proof reading of written content
- Real-time content creation during company events
- Introduce new content ideas to enhance engagement in social media that serve the strategy
- Handle crisis incidents
- Consult the customer care team on how to handle social media cases
- Work closely with other departments to make sure that all company and brand narratives are communicated effectively
- Work with the marketing team to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
- Work closely with the advertising agency so as to maintain consistency in visual elements and ensure that brand guidelines and philosophy is applied across all the pieces of content created
- Brief and collaborate with content creators
- Participate in brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
- Stay on top of new technology and trends in Social Media
Requirements
- 7+ years working experience in Communications (PR, Social Media), marketing or advertising agency or in the in the in house Social Media team in financial services or fintech industry
- Excellent copywriting skills
- University Degree in PR, Digital Marketing or Communications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Greek and English
- Social Media and Tech Savvy
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Strategic mindset
- Team Player and eagerness to take initiatives
- Creative thinking and ability to create newsworthy stories
- Problem solving oriented
- Must be creative, self-motivated, eager to learn and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
