Accountant for our client. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks with precision and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records, ensuring all entries are accurate and comply with legal requirement
- Checking and recording purchase invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments
- Recording customer orders and invoicing (products, contracts, projects)
- Handling MyData, submitting monthly tax obligations
- Checking and recording bank account and card transactions
- Reconciliation of customer/supplier accounts
- Overseeing and administering customer account balances and collections
- Overseeing the collection of overdue debts through contractual agreements & manage the product warehouse
- Preparation and management of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Involvement in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes
- Management of payroll processes: entering and processing data, calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, and other benefits
- Management of forms for the ERGANI Information System (Hiring, Terminations, Work Schedules, Contracts)
- Prepare and present financial reports detailing profits, losses, and other financial metrics
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in accounting software (preferably SoftOne) and MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Good knowledge of tax legislation, VAT code, Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
