Job Description
The Business Development Consultant (BDC) will be part of the Global Professional Services (PS) team. The BDC will contribute to and manage key activities on a global scale.
The Activities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Manage the PS portfolio which includes several services and software
- Coordinate and drive the promotion of the PS portfolio to internal stakeholders across all regions
- Contribute towards the expansion of the PS portfolio
The BDC must demonstrate partnering with executive management and cross-functional leaders to plan strategic initiatives and coordinate the execution of the plan.
Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, the BDC is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related initiatives directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These initiatives contain activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions and cultures.
- As a Subject Mater Expert promote PS portfolio to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the value added to the customer
- Work with stakeholders to identify country and regional needs and determine how our PS portfolio can be positioned
- Work with cross functional teams to create a long-term action plan for the promotion of the PS portfolio and monitor the process
- Contribute to new offer development, including defining the offer requirements, leading the cross-functional solution readiness core teams for launching the offer across targeted regions
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent in a business-related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Effective communication skills - written and verbal including presentation skills.
