As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth strategy of our payment orchestration platform. You will be a self-starter, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, with a determination to exceed targets. This role will look to utilize the candidate's experience and insight in order to develop strategies to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry and a proven track record of success in business development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Engage with prospects, presenting a value driven proposition to secure new business.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and successful closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage top line benefits and secure deals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, platforms, and service providers.
- Support and represent Praxis at marketing and cross-border industry events.
- Address client challenges and work with internal stakeholders to provide solutions that enhance end user experience.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- 8+ years of B2B Sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- 8+ years of Payments experience. Holding a deep understanding of online payments. Orchestration Engine experience an advantage.
- Experience in High risk sector such as Crypto, FX or Gaming sectors an advantage, or in other sectors that would benefit from an Orchestration Engine application.
- Proven track record and high familiarity in global Fintech markets; access to industry related resources is an advantage.
- Experience in cross-border eCommerce- APM’s, credit and debit card processing, wallets, and emerging payment types via online B2B merchants.
- Excellent communication skills, proficient in Business English both written and spoken.
- High interpersonal skill set with strong Presentation and planning abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Knowledge of the Hebrew language would be considered an advantage.
